Who Is Popinker?
Popinker is a custom art toy development studio for creators, IP owners, and brands. We turn character concepts into collectible products—from vinyl figures and resin statues to plush and blind box—from idea to production.
What We Do
We support the full journey from concept development to prototyping, sampling, and production coordination, helping clients shape original characters into products that are both compelling and manufacturable.
Who We Work With
We work with artists, IP owners, brands, licensors, toy startups, and organizations that want to turn character ideas into products. Our clients also include theme parks, museums, cultural tourism projects, and entertainment companies developing collectibles, merchandise, mascots, and character-based product lines.
Whether the starting point is a finished design, an early sketch, or a broader IP plan, we help shape a path from concept to sample to production.
Why Choose Popinker
Character products can take many forms, and each format has different creative and production requirements. A concept that works well as a plush may need a different structure, finish, or development path to succeed as a resin collectible, blind box figure, vinyl toy, or merchandise item.
Popinker supports that decision-making process across categories, helping clients move from concept development to prototyping, sampling, and production coordination with a broader view of what a character can become.
How We Work
Popinker guides you from concept to delivered product. Below is our workflow: communication, design support, sampling, and production—so you know what to expect when you partner with us.
1. First Contact and Brief
When you reach out, we start by understanding your idea: type of product, size, quantity, target market, and timeline. You can share sketches, references, or existing character art. We use this to propose next steps and give an initial sense of feasibility and lead time.
2. Design and Pattern Development
We turn your concept into technical patterns and recommend materials that fit your design, safety requirements, and budget. Our team has experience in product-specific design, so we can suggest adjustments that improve both look and production efficiency.
3. Sampling
We produce a physical sample for your approval. You can check proportions, colors, and quality before we move to production. Revisions are possible within the agreed number of rounds. This step reduces the risk of surprises and ensures the final product matches your vision.
4. Production and Quality Control
Once the sample is approved, we schedule production. We use the approved sample as the reference and run quality checks during and after production. We can discuss documentation and testing so your product meets the safety standards for your markets.
5. Delivery
We coordinate packing and shipping according to your needs. Lead times depend on order size and complexity; we provide clear estimates so you can plan inventory and campaigns.
